About the client
Second biggest telecommunication cable operator in Poland in terms of the number of subscribers.
The challenge
Our Client was implementing a new IT system consisting of several key applications necessary for the proper operation of the organization. This was the largest ever project for system implementation, and the Client needed support in organizing UAT tests. Because the system is of key importance for the Client’s operation, software performance testing was necessary (including tests to verify KPIs).
What we did
Sii’s engineers built a test farm (hardware and software) to execute automated functional and performance tests. Then, based on the executed tests, they carried out system analysis focused on performance and verified the system’s compliance with KPIs.
Sii has also provided methodological and procedural support in manual acceptance testing. Sii’s consultants were commissioned to:
- Develop methodology for the execution of UAT tests.
- Verify provided test scenarios.
- Provide help in designing test cases.
- Implement a test management application (TestLink) and provide training to its users.
Effects
Sii’s specialists were responsible for testing the performance and quality of the new system, verification of the system’s compliance with KPIs and efficiently executing manual tests based on the developed methodology.
