One of the world's leading suppliers of products, systems, and services, mainly for automotive manufacturing. The Polish branch specializes in conveyor system solutions.
The challenge
Due to a large number of concurrently implemented projects for the automotive industry across the world, Client faced the problem of a shortage in engineering personnel specialized in software and the commissioning of systems based on PLC drives.
What we did
We began our cooperation with the implementation of a project for a plant in China. Sii was responsible for 6 sets of drivers controlling the operation of a fully automated car paintshop. Sii engineers had to design the software for the drivers (Siemens S7) and also:
- Put into operation all of the components of industrial automation integrated into the line (drive units, sensors, pneumatic equipment, motors, safety systems, etc.).
- Put into operation human machine interfaces (HMI).
- Verify the correctness of electrical connections and peripheral device addressing.
The team of engineers grew from 4 to 10 people, and is now fully operational and independent.
